How Visa Scams Work Visa scammers use different tricks to deceive unsuspecting travelers. Here are some of the common tactics:

1. Guaranteed Visa Promises: No agent can guarantee a visa. Only embassies and consulates have the authority to approve or deny applications.
2. Fake Documents: Some agents use fake invitation letters, bank statements, or employment records, which can lead to visa denial or even a travel ban.
